Turkey babies....and building with driftwood

We have a whole gaggle of wild turkeys that hang around here, especially at Nate and Linda's  house across the street. They had not been around for a while and a few days ago the females strutted down the street and through Nates yard to show off their babies.

 When Bixby stays over he likes to help Granddad cook.

This is his special rotisserie chicken.

 We spent some great time at the beach this week.

I watched Bixby build for hours as he

learned engineering and physics

and became proficient at building wonderful structures.

 We love spending more time with him now that school is out.

We found some leather and tools and he made a purse for his mom

and a key fob for his dad with the help of Granddad

 Stamping the designs on is fun.
