The boys are here !!!

Cameron, Arlo and Jack arrived from Ohio on Sunday. The drive back from LAX was made memorable by LA traffic and IN and Out Burgers !!!The next day we had tea with the Great Grandparents and time at the tide pools, and of course, time spent climbing trees and lounging in the hammock.

 And games of Mexican train and canasta

 For the 4th of July we hung out at the park..

where the kids hung out in the trees.

 We walked the beach

 Did some driftwood building

 Found rock treasures

 

 And family time with chatting, dancing and 

wonderful fireworks.

 We spent time exploring Cameron's boxes stored in the garage.

We found things he had built as a child like this steam engine.

 Old school photos and remote control toys

Then the boys  and I headed for the beach

to climb and build forts

 Rock hunting and digging

 trying out the couch

 Decorating and talking design

 And adding a fence

 And jumping

 A game of chess

 Corn shucking

 And a sunset walk to end the day.

Turkeys are roosting in that tree

 And deer on the hill

 As the sun sets in Cambria
