We flew Arlo and Jack back to California. Arlo is now 9 and Jack is 7. They are developing their personalities with Arlo being interested in facts and conversation and jack enjoying physical challenges, climbing and gymnastics.

Even though our first day was foggy (110 degrees inland) we went to our favorite fort building beach.

Grandad felt the boys were responsible enough to learn how to whittle.

The boys served us dinner outside

Jack enjoyed climbing our Oak trees

Then their was a little more whittling

And a soak in the hot tub to end a perfect day

The next day my mom and dad came for a few days and Kelly, Brian and Bixby joined us for three days of family fun. There were walks on The Ranch.
