We hiked the Sand spit from Montano de Oro to Morro Bay.
It is almost 10 miles on sand, and it was good practice
for developing that extra push when you can see your goal
but its still miles away.
We followed coyote tracks, and the coyote found us.
We walked from San Simeon to Lodge Hill
giving us a taste of distance from town to town.
Our own Fern Canyon is lush as we head home.
Us Three girls, Janet, Mary and I and Franklin, a corgi
Hiked the Criuckshank trail to Villa creek and back.
A very over grown but beautiful trail climbing
from Hwy 1 towards Big Sur.
We figured out how to fix the phone
on the top of the daypack on a chair
to take a photo.
Diane and I took a kayak trip around Morro Bay.
Kids were jumping off the dock,
an osprey was eating a fish on a boat mast.
Anita and I had a lovely breakfast out and
then a jaunt down the newly renovated San Simeon Pier.
Mikes Tennis club held a tennis tournament
enjoyed by all.
We enjoy our house and our garden and the wild life.
This Turkey Vulture rests on our snag which is
home to many smaller birds.
The garden has given us some delicious veggies.
