Enjoying the beach

 

This week has been smokey because of all the fires in California.

The closest to us is up near Big Sur in our beloved Ventana wilderness..

As the smoke cleared a bit on Saturday we headed for the beach.

A seal came up and sat with us.

                              After climbing on the cliffs for a while, Bixby began on digging a hole

And the seal naps on...

Kelly, Bixby and I enjoy a game of Ticket to Ride

And Mike teaches Bixby how to fly with the flight simulator.

                                        Flying wild.....then CRASH

Occasionally we get a treat in Cambria. when a local, Neal Dundas,

plays his bagpipes on the bluffs at sunset.

People gather to listen. Families with children in PJ's

Photographers recording the moment the sun sinks.

Mike and I enjoy the sort scooter ride which adds to the ambiance of the evening.
