Camping at Santa Margarita Lake

Had a great weekend camping with Kelly, Brian and Bixby at Santa Margarita Lake.


 Mike and I took our little backpacking tent
Saturday morning was foggy

We walked around the lake looking for prints

 that now belongs to Kelly and Brian 
 We hikes to Rocky Point












From our campsite I watched a hawk maim
a duck and the vultures tried to get it 
out of the water...unsuccessfully. 


 

 




 Where Bixby chose to eat his lunch

Mike cooked dinner on his old backpacking stove 












Brian and Bix light the fire 





And roast marshmellows 



 We played Uno and "Ticket to Ride" boardgame



 Then it was time to pack up and go
