We were almost the only ones camped in the Quail area
Everything is so green and lush
looking down on our camping spot
Mike cooked spaghetti while dancing to music
Diatomacious earth makes
the geology of the area interesting.
Deer and Mike and I enjoy the sunset
Later there is Spenser's strawberry pie for dessert
Next day it off to hike the ridge trail
Lots of wonderful flowers
And roasting hot dogs over the fire
a fitting end to a lovely day.
Today I headed over Hwy. 46 to go to Bixbys school
Today was a playing in the creek afternoon.
The class ran down the hill towards the creek.
They set to engineering a bridge to cross
They found life on a rock...water worms they called them
Lots of practice for balencing
Some designed a rock shop on the banks
All too soon it was time to climb
the hill back up to school
Then back down the 46...the flowers were spectacular
especially the mustard, the photos can't do it justice.
