Our Unitarian Universalist friends are responsible for picking up the trash on a section of the 46 Hwy. between Cambria and Paso Robles, and Mike and I volunteer happily. Its amazing how attached we have become to our section, and the interesting things one sees along the way. Sometimes we get honked at and once we were given a gift certificate for lunch by a passing restaurant owner. This past week it was Janet, Joel, Mike and I enjoying the "chore"
And the sadness of those poor animals
that fall victim to speeding drivers.
Raccoon, hawk and always lots of deer bones
And human trash
A great way to spend a few hours.
well done you xxxx
