We enjoyed a good campout at Santa Margarita Lake with our friends Mary and Randy . The kayaking was wonderful.
A girls day out with Kathy and Michelle and Eden and Lily
began with a trip through the car wash. We all had fun
screaming as the "octopus arms" attacked us.
Then off to the browse the Arroyo Grande thrift shops.
Lily had fun dressing me up.
A boba treat.
Then after dinner, a dusky exploration
of the beaver ponds
We had fun making beaver noises,
finding their tracks, sitting and watching,
and looking at their scat.
We love our adventures together.
Cameron sent Mike a new pellet grill.
And we were gifted 2 wonderful single kayaks.
Chris, Lucy and I walked the town
looking at the scarecrows.
Mike and I saw the Beatle group the Fab Four
at the Clark center. They were Fabulous.
We have know their leader Jeff (Paul) since our days
dancing at the Crown and Anchor pub
in Thousand Oaks. It was great to reconnect after the show.
The jade festival was held in Harmony this year.

A day trip to the Lake to try out those new kayaks.
They are wonderful, even in the wind.
Ospreys diving , bald eagles fishing,
and my favorite Kingfishers everywhere.
Eden and Lily participated in a photography exhibit.
I am in awe of the talent and enthusiasm
of these young people.
Mike enjoys cooking on his new grill.
I enjoy another kayaking and hiking day.
A rainy Monday gives Kathy, Michelle and the girls
a good day for games and fun at my house.
Poetry for Neanderthals turned out to be a popular game.
In Ohio, Cameron makes a tasty
Thanksgiving dinner for his family.
He and Tina are now the parents that have all the kids
and their friends over for dinner and games. We enjoyed those days
and now its their turn. Cameron celebrated his 44th birthday
just before Thanksgiving.

Kelly and her friend Patrick.

Bixby, at 15 is taller than us all.
