I learned something new.
Looking at the garden at night
under ultra violet light.

Our first rain...
and the sunflower thinks its spring

And just yesterday...
Chris, Lucy and I enjoyed a lovely
lunch at Lucy's.
We pulled English crackers
and wore those funny hats.

and on into the Autumn....

Lets catch up.....
on returning from our cross country trip
we started up our new hot tub.

Celebrated Mikes 73rd birthday

Visited our friend Nate in the
Acute Care facility.
He was recovering well from
several health issues.
I took his partner Linda to visit.

We picked up the trash on hwy 46

And the apples on our 2 trees grew larger
and sweeter

The night sky from the hot tub is wonderful

riding the scooter is fun

We are restaining our lovely wooded house

and joined Kelly and Bixby for
Atascadero concerts in the park...
sing a long Beatle music

A double rainbow appeared over our house
and the sunset was amazing.
This photo taken by Nates son Andre
who stayed with us while seeing to his dads things

Here is Nate and Andre at an earlier car show.
Nate began the car shows here in Cambria.

We hosted a garage sale for Andre to sell
Nates garage stuff.
I enjoyed hearing all the stories from
Nates friends who stopped by.
Nate is so loved in this town.
Lots of hard work, but well done Andre.
With the garage sale money and go fund me
Nate will be moving to Georgia to live with his daughter

The beach is always nice
The new mural that pays tribute
to the Native Americans of our area
was unveiled at the post office.

We had an "apple drop"
with our two trees unloading half of their apples
Over one night. I had never heard of this but
apparently it happens...Nature seems to know what to do
for the good of the tree..
and coordinates two trees to do it at the same time.  WOW

We picked up the trash on Hwy 1
Mary, Marsha and Steve and I

We always enjoy lunch at Morro Bay

We enjoy the sun on our favorite beach

And a Jill Knight concert at the
San Luis Lighthouse

How many people does it take
to put Mikes chair together?
At the Pinderado Parade

Meanwhile, back in Ohio,
Cameron's family enjoy night games

Our friends and neighbors Margie and Larry
return on their sailboat to Morro Bay
after circumnavigating around the world

A news crew and friends and family
are their to greet them

We enjoy a few days at the lake
with Kris and Tony.
We pitch our tent as the RV is still being worked on.
The highlights were seeing the ISS and the Starlink go over
and of course the birds, the kayaking and the company.

The Turkey Vultures lead us to
a dead young cougar.
The ranger said it seemed to be undernourished.
I love that these wild animal are here.

We enjoyed having the kayak near the campsite

Kris and Tony enjoyed a paddle

At the Unitarian Universalist Community of Cambria
we assemble food and care bags for the unhoused

The Whale Rock music festival was fun

Bixby rested up...until he found his friends.
At 13 I think he tolerates hanging with the adults
but he does invite me to go with him to buy food!!!!
Typical teenager discovering his own style.
He is a great kid and we always enjoy his company

Kelly hooks up with friends.
The Castoro winery is a great location
for the festival.

A lounging area in the vines

Mike was entertained trying to matchup his number
for a prize. Kelly had the luck of
matching hers both days....very entertaining...for Mike

Nice beds to relax on

The day came for Nates vintage truck to move to Georgia.
A neighbor and I directed traffic as the truck was safely loaded.

Chris Lucy and I try to walk together
and lunch every month

And Michelle and Eden and Lily
and  Kathy and Magnus the dog
try to meet up often for fun and conversation

We are so blessed with our health,
our beautiful environment and our wonderful
family and friends.
