September ...

Lots of change going on in September. My dads house sold and then began the work of preparing a shed at Kelly's to store mom and dads art work. Introducing "The Farmer Family Museum"

The art work is moved to Kelly's
and fills her living room and office

We dismantle the old storage

And the new is almost finished

This is what it was at mom and dads house.
We hope it all goes back together.
We can invite family to take some
when they visit.

Meanwhile, our apple crop was awesome this year

And....wild turkeys in the garden.
Mike and I chase them out.

Moms art friend sent a picture of an art exhibit
mom had at the Federal building in LA.
My dad worked on the design of the same building.

And Tery and Michelle come
to pack up mom and dads art book
collection...willed to their art students.

Our Unitarian Universalists Hwy clean up
added a new section on Hwy 1.
Janet, Mary, Randy and I are the A Team

There is always time for a nice hike with friends.
Estero Bluffs with whales and birds in the distant

The shipwreck

And....at the same time,...
our son Cameron in Ohio got a new hip.
He was up walking within a few hours
and now free of his hip hurting
and popping out of alignment

Mike and I enjoy an evening of  dinner out
and wonderful guitar music at the PAC

And my special PG Tips tea....
honors the Queen and her Corgis'
We are getting used to saying
 "Long Live the King"

A visit to Ohio

Its always a great time when we go and visit Cameron and his family in Dayton Ohio. We rent a turn of the century historic house a block from his and enjoy being together as a family...Jack, Kelly, Arlo, Bixby, Sue, Mike, Cameron, Dani, Tina and Aislinn

Some time is spent at the park across the street.

A rare white squirrel visits us...a Leucist.
We sat on our porch and enjoyed watching
the local wildlife.

Lots of game time

sometimes boys against girls.

Reading together after a trip to the book store

Tina treated us to Bubble tea

A day at the Air Force museum
It takes all day going with
three aeronautical engineering students.

Aislinn is interested also

Cameron finds the helicopter he worked on
in the Marines

Lots of cooking and eating together
at our rental house and restaurants

We all laughed at Cameron's egg master...
but ate the concoctions

Cameron always has some fun gadgets to try
the the Egg master egg cooker !!!

Bixby makes pancakes

A wonderful dinner and experience at Blackrock
where you cook your own food and
we enjoyed a volcano exploring dessert

Time spent sharing accomplishments and thoughts
and affection

A visit with Mikes sister Sharon
and her husband Mike and son Ryan.

The girls sleep over

The boys shuck corn.
We bought great tri tips at the meat shop
where Arlo works.

We visit Wright University
where Arlo is starting his second year.

They have a model of the Wright flyer in the library

We chatted with the president of the school
and Arlo showed Bixby where the comfortable chairs are.
Arlo and his friends enjoy studying here.

Some goofing around.

Some really big tent caterpillar nests

Feeding goats at Youngs Farm

Watching cheese being made

A fun game of miniature golf

Sadly, all good things come to an end
Time to fly home....till next time
