Live Oak music festival
Last weekend we went to Live Oak music festival. We are true "Oakies", fully embracing the "Peace, Love and Dirt" life style. This family festival begins on Thursday afternoon when true Oakies line up in the parking lot to await entry to the camping early the next day.
There was even a place to plug in your "stuff".

Sunday morning breakfast with the Cache Valley Drifters is always a favorite.
A baby woodpecker being fed by his mom stole the show.
and enjoy a shower
All ages enjoyed games, juggling, hula hoops....
and dancing...
Plenty of good food including Bixby's favorite chocolate ice cream and naan bread.
Bixby entertained himself with a connect four game. Observing the patterns he made gives us an idea of the organisational process of a 2 year old mind
Father and daughter enjoy the music
Bix decorated the motor home

creative play
I love watching Bixby's creative play. He has created many scenes around the garden in pots, on stumps, with plants and animals and the way he interacts with them is magical. Bixby has not watched any tv and I think this contributes to his imaginative play.
A cup of tea
Today after the beach Bixby and I enjoyed a cup of tea together. (I did find out later that his apple tea has soy in it. oooops Sorry Kelly. I may have added to his rash but it was cute and made him feel grown up.
Then he put bird seed in the feeder and sat with Grandad to wait for the birds.
